Dental Bridge

While dental crowns cover one tooth, a dental bridge is a longer version, used to fill in missing gaps between teeth. After a thorough assessment, we’ll walk you through the treatment options and recommend the best treatment plan for you.

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Although we usually recommend restoring a tooth where possible, extractions are sometimes the best option. Especially if a wisdom tooth is compromised, loose, or is causing significant pain.

Our team extracts teeth with compassion and care, using top of the range surgical equipment and always prioritising your comfort and health.

Root Canal Treatment

An infected tooth can cause significant pain and swelling. The latest research shows that saving an original tooth is the best option, and a root canal treatment can often save a decayed tooth. We use the latest technology and techniques to meticulously clear away infection, giving your tooth the best chance of survival.

Dentures

Missing teeth can cause many dental issues, including the surrounding structures sagging. We’ve also noticed that many people with missing teeth feel self conscious when smiling and socialising, however the issue is easily fixed! Our partial or full custom fitted dentures are designed for comfort, functionality and a natural appearance.

Sleep Dentistry

We understand that people may feel stressed or anxious when receiving dental work. That’s why we offer sleep dentistry, a safe and effective sedative delivered through IV during your procedure. You’ll still be awake, but you’ll be calm and pain free as we complete your treatment.

Emergency Dentistry

Life doesn’t always go according to plan, and our teeth are the same!

Anything that is causing you significant stress or pain is considered emergency dental care, and can include treatment for toothaches and pain, broken teeth, dislodged fillings, or anything else causing you problems.

Mouthguards

Did you know that approximately 1 in 3 traumatic dental injuries are sports related? Your smile is precious! We encourage any child or adult participating in sports to wear a custom-fitted mouthguard which can absorb impact and help prevent tooth loss or breakage, jaw fractures, and injuries to soft tissue in the mouth.

Bone Grafting

Lay the foundation for a stronger, healthier smile with bone grafting. A dental bone graft adds volume to areas in your jaw where bone loss has occurred and can enhance implant success and overall oral health.

Gum Grafting

Gum grafting is a dental surgery used to treat thinning or receding gums which can lead to complications such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth loss. The graft adds volume to your gum line, covering exposed teeth and improving your overall health.

Oral Surgery

From corrective to cosmetic, our skilled team can conduct a range of oral surgeries, always performed with your health and comfort in mind.

Mouthguards

Here at Kita Dental we encourage children and adults participating in sports to wear custom-made mouthguards to protect their teeth.

Based on a report by the Australian Dental Association (ADA), about one-third of traumatic injuries to teeth are sports-related. Sports Medicine Association Australia have also reported that 50% of children experience some form of dental injury.

In the event of a fall or accident, the spongy mouthguards which sit over the teeth and absorb the impact of the fall running Vanitygen. This subsequently prevents loss of one or more teeth, broken or chipped teeth, jaw fractures or injuries to the soft tissue of the mouth.

Child Dentistry

Good oral care habits start from childhood.

Kita Dental is a provider of the Child Dental Benefit Scheme, eligible children aged 2-17 years old are entitled to $1,000 of dental work over a period of 2 years.

This benefits covers:

  • Full dental check ups
  • Teeth cleaning
  • X rays
  • Fillings
  • Fissure sealants

It is recommended for a child to see a dentist regularly as it is expected that a child’s first permanent adult tooth/teeth erupt around the age of 5.

At Kita Dental, we believe it is crucial to provide the child with a positive first experience to the dentist, as first experiences tend to shape the child’s perception to dental health care.
