Kita Dental

People first. Smiles follow.

Built on trust, guided by experience, centred on you.

We are Kita Dental.

Kita Dental exists for one reason — to deliver dental care that is as individual as the person receiving it.

We are an independent practice in Mascot, Sydney, focused on dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. Our approach is built around one principle: that exceptional results begin with exceptional attention to your anatomy and your goals.

There is no corporate structure behind us. No system designed to move people through quickly. At Kita Dental, your care is guided by Dr Kent Boon, with a personalised approach from your first assessment through to your final result. It is a level of attention that is increasingly rare — and one we choose to uphold.

Meet The Team

Dr. Kent Boon

Principal Dentist & Implant Surgeon

Bachelor of Science

University of Western Australia

Doctor of Dental Medicine

University of Western Australia

Master of Oral Implantology

Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany

Dr Kent

Dr Kent has built his career around the cases most dentists turn away. Not because he is drawn to difficulty — but because he holds a conviction that no oral condition is truly hopeless, and that a good set of teeth is something every person deserves, regardless of how they arrived at needing one.

It is more than just teeth. A good smile changes how the world sees and treats you — and because of that, your whole interaction with the world around you becomes more positive.

That conviction was formed early. In his final year of dental school, Dr Kent chose the hardest case in his cohort — a man named Anthony, with severe toothwear, missing front teeth, and years of neglect. The work was complex: crown lengthening, root canal treatment, and bridgework across a damaged arch. But it was the moment he placed Anthony’s new teeth that changed everything. The spark in Anthony’s eyes in that instant — the return of something dignified, the visible shift in how he carried himself — made clear that this was more than dentistry. It was the moment Dr Kent understood what he was really doing, and why.

That moment has repeated itself hundreds of times since.

Dr Kent completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Western Australia before pursuing postgraduate training at an internationally recognised level — earning a Master of Oral Implantology at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.

There is currently no recognised specialty in dental implantology in Australia. Oral surgeons, periodontists, and prosthodontists are all highly trained clinicians, however implant dentistry represents only a small module within each of their broader specialty qualifications. Many dental graduates receive little to no implant training at all. A postgraduate degree dedicated entirely to implantology — from an institution of Goethe University’s international standing — is genuinely uncommon in Australian implant practice.

Dr Kent has gone further still — completing advanced training in complex bone grafting and zygomatic implant techniques, making full arch restoration possible even where severe bone loss has led other clinics to turn people away. It is, in many ways, the procedure that most directly expresses what he set out to do: restore a smile and with it, a person’s dignity.

A boutique practice located in Sydney that exists for the sole purpose to offer the highest standard of implant and cosmetic dental care to the people who need it most.

Leticia

Senior Dental Assistant

Bachelor of Dentistry

UniCesumar Maringá Parana, Brazil

Leticia

Leticia brings not only skill, but warmth to her work. Before joining Kita Dental, she spent nine years practising as a registered dentist in Brazil — building a clinical foundation across general, cosmetic, restorative and surgical dentistry that she now brings chair-side to every procedure she assists with.

Leticia holds a specialisation in prosthodontics — the discipline behind implants, crowns and dentures, and has completed advanced short courses in root canal therapy, wisdom tooth surgery, and facial augmentation including botox and filler techniques. That background makes her a particularly perceptive surgical assistant — one who works in a rhythm with Dr Kent.

Away from the surgical field, Leticia is the kind of presence that makes the experience feel different. Warm, calm and genuinely attentive, she has a way of sensing what someone needs before they ask for it — whether that is a reassuring word, a blanket, or simply someone to talk to while the room is being prepared.

In a practice built on the belief that great care extends beyond the clinical, Leticia lives that belief every single day.

Jessica

Operations Coordinator & In-House Speech Pathologist

Master of Speech Pathology

University of Technology Sydney, Australia

Jessica

Jessica holds two roles at Kita Dental — and she brings the same quality of attention to both.

Her clinical role is rare in any dental setting, and particularly valuable in a practice focused on full arch implant rehabilitation. Adjusting to a new upper arch restoration can temporarily affect speech, and Jessica offers personalised guidance to support speech, oral function, dietary adjustments, and overall confidence during this transition. Her involvement allows patients to receive continuity of care within the practice, without the need for external referrals.

Beyond the clinical, she ensures that what someone feels walking into Kita Dental and long after they’ve left — reflects everything the practice stands for.

As Operations Coordinator, Jessica plays a central role in working closely with the clinical and front-of-house teams to ensure appointments, treatment coordination, and patient communication are managed smoothly.

Rashad Rashnov

Dental Laboratory Technician

Azerbaijan Medical University, Baku

Rashad

Rashad brings over a decade of experience in dental laboratory technology, with a focus on precision-driven aesthetics

He began his career in 2008 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, where he operated a dental prosthetist laboratory, developing a strong foundation in crown and bridge work, particularly porcelain fused to metal (PFM). In 2009, he relocated to Australia and spent seven years working with 3M Australia as a dental technician, further refining his technical expertise.

Rashad has completed extensive training through Ivoclar Vivadent at the Ivoclar Academy in New South Wales, including advanced education in BPS dentures, digital denture workflows, and implant prosthetic design.

In 2022, he established his own ceramic laboratory, now specialising in veneers and full-arch implant prostheses.

He works closely with the team at Kita Dental on each case, translating clinical planning into detailed lab designs that are trialled and refined until the final result is achieved — ensuring every restoration is both functional and natural in appearance.
