All On 4 Dental Implants in Sydney
Designed to restore your comfort, confidence, and freedom.
What are All On 4 Dental Implants?
All on 4 dental implants use four to six precisely placed implants to support a full arch of fixed, permanent teeth, restoring both function and appearance on a stable foundation.
This approach is typically considered when most or all teeth in the upper or lower jaw are missing, failing, or beyond restoration. Rather than replacing teeth individually, All on 4 rebuilds the entire arch — supporting the ability to eat, speak and smile with greater confidence.
Like all implant treatment, All on 4 requires thorough assessment and careful planning. During your consultation, we will evaluate your suitability, walk you through each stage of the process, and discuss the materials and options available to you, so you can make an informed decision with complete clarity.
Determining if All On 4 Dental Implants are right for you
Dental implant treatment may be suitable for people with missing, damaged, or failing teeth — or for anyone tired of the discomfort of loose dentures.
You may be a good candidate if you:
- Have lost several or all of your teeth
- Struggle to eat with dentures or avoid certain foods
- Have loose or failing teeth
- Have severe gum disease
- Feel self-conscious about your smile
- Have teeth that are breaking down and cannot be saved
- Want a long-term solution to ongoing dental repairs
Certain medical conditions and medications can influence healing. We’ll review your medical history carefully and, if needed, coordinate with your GP and Specialist to ensure treatment is safe and appropriate.
Not sure if you’re suitable? Our complimentary consultation is designed to answer exactly that.

Meet Your Implant Surgeon
When considering All on 4 treatment, it’s helpful to take the time to understand what to look for in an experienced clinician.
There is currently no recognised specialty in dental implantology in Australia. As a result, All on 4 treatment is offered by clinicians with widely varying levels of experience.
Dr Kent Boon holds a Master of Oral Implantology from Goethe University Frankfurt — a postgraduate qualification dedicated entirely to implant dentistry, earned at one of Europe’s most respected dental institutions. It is a level of focused knowledge that is uncommon in Australian practice.
Beyond his core qualification, Dr Kent has completed advanced training in zygomatic implants and complex bone grafting procedures. These are among the most technically demanding procedures in implant dentistry.
Kita Dental was established specifically around implant restoration — it is the sole focus of what we do here.
“There is always a way to achieve your dream smile. Never lose hope”.
– Dr. Kent Boon

All On 4 Dental Implants FAQs
Dental implant treatment is performed under local anaesthetic and IV sedation. Throughout the procedure, your anaesthetist and our team monitor your comfort closely — additional anaesthetic can always be administered if needed. Some mild tenderness or swelling in the days following treatment is entirely normal and is usually well managed with standard pain relief.
It’s natural to need a little time to adjust to speaking with new teeth, especially with a full arch. The tongue and oral muscles adapt quickly, and clarity typically returns and feels natural again.
Upper full-arch implants can temporarily alter the palate shape, affecting sounds like “s,” “t,” and “th” — but this resolves with time. Our team will support you through the adjustment, and a qualified on-site speech pathologist is available if you’d like additional guidance.
Your new teeth are custom-designed — every detail of shade, shape, and size is considered in the context of your facial features and natural smile. They are designed to feel secure and comfortable for everything you’d expect from your own teeth — eating, speaking, laughing, living.
A short settling period is normal, and we’ll support you through any fine-tuning needed to optimise comfort and function.
Healing varies from person to person. Most people feel comfortable returning to normal daily activities within a few days, with any mild swelling or tenderness typically resolving within a week.
The implants themselves require several months to fully integrate with the jawbone — a natural biological process that we monitor carefully through scheduled follow-up appointments. Once integration is confirmed, your final teeth are fitted, restoring full function and comfort.
If you’ve had sedation, you will not be able to drive yourself home. We ask that you arrange for someone to accompany you and remain with you for a period while the effects wear off.
If organising a lift is difficult, our team can assist with arranging transport on your behalf. We will also follow up with you the following day to check in on your recovery — because our care doesn’t end when you leave the chair.
Dental implant treatment is a surgical procedure, and we believe every person deserves a clear and honest understanding of what that involves before making any decision.
Potential risks include:
- Swelling, bruising, or discomfort during the healing period
- Infection at the implant site if post-operative care instructions are not followed
- Minor injury to adjacent teeth or surrounding tissue in uncommon circumstances
- Temporary changes in sensation due to nerve irritation, which typically resolves over time
- In rare cases, the body may not fully integrate the implant, which can lead to implant failure.
These outcomes are not common — but they are possibilities we take seriously and prepare for. Before treatment begins, we walk you through every risk, benefit, and alternative relevant to your situation in full.
