WHY ALL ON 4 COSTS VARY ACROSS SYDNEY

Every All on 4 quote looks different because it’s rarely comparing the same thing. It’s worth understanding what typically drives the difference:

  • Whether the quote covers the complete treatment
    Some advertised prices cover only surgery and the temporary teeth, with the final custom teeth billed separately later. Always ask whether a quote is start-to-finish.
  • The material used for the final teeth
    Acrylic material framework options are generally more affordable but may need replacing sooner. Zirconia options cost more but are typically more durable and stain-resistant.
  • Whether bone grafting is required
    This is assessed individually and some people need it, others don’t.
  • The number of implants placed
    Typically four, though five or six may be used depending on individual bone assessment.

All On 4 implant surgery is a significant procedure. Many people, particularly those who have avoided dentistry for years, carry anxiety about visiting the dentist. IV sedation means you are deeply relaxed and comfortable throughout the treatment.
Most clinics advertise an attractive headline price and add sedation costs of $3,000 to $5,000 after your consultation. We don’t believe in that approach. At Kita Dental, sedation is included in every package.

Your anaesthetist’s only responsibility is you.

IV sedation is administered by an independent, ICU-trained anaesthetist, a medical doctor with critical care training whose sole role during your procedure is your safety. Medicare rebates apply where eligible, reducing your out-of-pocket contribution to approximately $4,000. Your exact gap is confirmed before you commit to treatment. As an independent clinician, your anaesthetist has the authority to pause or stop the procedure at any point if they determine it is not safe to continue. This authority exists entirely in your interest.

The Try-On Process: Approving Your Smile

You approve your smile before it's finalised

A try-on is your opportunity to see, feel and approve your new teeth before the final restoration is made. It is not a formality — it is a genuine checkpoint where adjustments can be made.

1 Surgery day — implants are placed and you may receiver your temporary teeth on the same day.

2 Healing period — your implants integrate with the bone over several months while you wear your temporary teeth normally.

3 Try-on appointment — you see and feel a prototype of your final teeth. Shape, colour, length, bite — everything can be refined here.

4 Final fitting — once you are happy, your permanent teeth are made and fitted. Additional try-ons are $900.

You may be eligible to apply for early release of superannuation to fund dental implant treatment that is considered medically necessary.
