This purpose was forged during his final year of dental school. He took on Anthony, a complex case with severe wear, missing front teeth, and years of neglect. Crown lengthening, root canal therapy, bridgework, the treatment was staged and demanding. But watching Anthony’s transformation at the end, the spark returning to his eyes, the quiet dignity, the visible shift in how he carried himself, showed Dr Kent what he was really doing. It’s been his purpose ever since.
That conviction shaped his training. Since implantology isn’t a recognised specialty in Australia, Dr Kent pursued a Master of Science in Oral Implantology at Goethe University Frankfurt and continues advanced training internationally to stay at the leading edge of the field.
